More YKC stoneleigh weekend!

The YKC facebook team have just uploaded these there should be some more from sunday up soon.

 I don't actually handle Tommy, just for the camp/weekends.

YKC stoneleigh weekend!

This weekend (27-28 april) me and tommy were at the YKC weekend in stoneleigh. It was open to both members and non-members and was like a camp taster.
Anyway this is what we did, we also did handling but mum forgot we had the camera so no videos or photos of that!

Back to Normal!!

I had been having a bit of trouble getting Tommy to start and continue at a good speed, but after last nights group lesson he was back to a waiting start and a flying speed. The only problems we had were when i nearly tripped over! I'm very pleased with him. And he's got back to how he was just in time for the YKC spring weekend at stoneleigh!

Agility

So today me and tommy had our weekly agility lesson, we got a good run out of it by the end. However because we have trouble starting a run and maintaining speed, we are going to our trainers group class tomorrow. There will be no other Mini Schnauzers but one other young handler! :P

Obedience!

Today was our last "advanced" obedience session at WitsEnd on this course. Me and Tommy have really enjoyed it although he could do most of it already! We got to show off a few of our tricks to one or two of the puppy class before us. In our class the whole way there have only been two of use me and Tommy and ??? and Sasha, but tonight Sasha and her owners didn't turn up so we were joined by piglet, the dog used to help train aggressive dogs, he was very good and proved to be a good distraction for Tommy - who did his stays and recalls and everything else. We are now looking at going back to Bertie Dog Training but they don't run the course we want on a day suitable for us as I am vary busy after school (Monday now free, Tuesday free, Wednesday Agility training and D-of-E, Thursday go to see my friend after school every week, Friday when we want the session) and they only run intermediate 1 on Friday we need intermediate 2 which, until September  runs on a Wednesday!

Dog Vegas Easter Show!!!! Results! :D

Me and Tommy went to our first 5 day show starting last Friday. We got 5 firsts, 2 out of time clears, 1 out of time 10 faults and 12 eliminated's. A few of those were my fault though.
